Don't zap your computer! Discharge the static
electricity first by
touching a Zap-It-Strip.
Just peel off the backing and stick it on the edge of your computer stand where
you can easily touch it first to keep your expensive computer safe from
electrostatic discharge.

In order for the Zap-It-Strip to work correctly you need to make sure your receptacle has a working ground connection. Using the Receptacle Tester is fast and easy, just plug it in and if the two amber lights light up, you are good to go. You can also check all the other receptacles in your home.
